What is the course format?
The core curriculum of Modern Calligraphy 101 & 201 are available 24/7 as pre-recorded videos & downloadable worksheets, accessible through a private course portal.
As soon as you enroll, you'll get access to all of the lessons.
Each week, you'll watch video lessons, practice on worksheets, complete an assignment, and learn to self-critique for faster improvement.
There are TWO OPTIONS for pacing:
1) SELF-PACED: I provide a checklist that gives you suggested practice and assignments for the 8 week-curriculum. But you can go as slow or fast as you want.
2) LIVE COHORTS: You can join in with us as we work through the curriculum together, with set deadlines to turn in your assignments for group feedback.

How exactly will the Live Cohorts work?
During Live Cohorts, we'll be giving you extra accountability and support:
- Every week, you'll have until Sunday night to submit your assignment in our Student Facebook Group
- Our teachers will create a Group Feedback video using selected parts of the assignments submitted that week, to highlight and advise on the most common areas of struggle.
- Our teachers will also answer questions directly in the Student Facebook Group several times a week
- Students will also have a structured place to share wins and frustrations - so no one feels isolated or alone!
What happens if I can't complete the course on schedule?
You'll get the best learning experience by joining one of our Live Cohorts, or by watching the videos and completing each lesson on the suggested 8-week schedule. That way, you keep your momentum and watch yourself grow week after week.
