I'm Shinah! I spent ten years in corporate law - and I was miserable the whole time.
Back in 2015, I knew I wanted some kind of creative business, but I had NO IDEA how to start one.

What if I have AWFUL handwriting?
You can still totally do calligraphy!
Calligraphy looks like handwriting, but the key difference is that it's built from a few easy foundational shapes.
That means, if you can learn to draw 6 simple shapes, you can do calligraphy.
(trust me - this is the most common worry that we hear from new students, and they all end up getting over it!)
What tools will I need?
1 - Nib Holder
2 - Pointed, Flexible Nib
3 - Ink
4 - Heavyweight Printer Paper
(A home printer is super useful, so you can print out the worksheets, but it's not absolutely necessary.)

Can I do this if I'm left-handed?
Absolutely!
It really pisses me off when left-handed people get told they can't do calligraphy.
Not gonna lie, it does take a little extra time to figure out your ideal grip and paper position, but I've taught hundreds of lefties how to master the art of calligraphy!
